Samantha is my best friend and more importantly, my sister! We’ve spent the last 20 years laughing, crying, and making forever memories together. Just 15 years ago, we were playing make-believe wedding and dreaming of the day that we would experience it for real (although let’s be honest, I was always the bride while Sam was the groom). Well, HERE WE ARE SISSY! I can’t imagine walking down the aisle and having anyone else stand next to me as I celebrate one of the biggest moments in life! She’s the BEST person I know and also keeps me in line (that’s a hard job). Kiersten Hacker is my cousin, and my first ever “best friend.” She is my shopping partner, bachelorette watching partner, and a great friend to have. We have been through so much together and we have grown closer each and every year. She is always the one I have looked up to, and I truly admire her positive outlook on life. We have a special bond that I will forever treasure. I met Meredith my freshman year at Appalachian State University. I chose Delta Zeta because of Meredith and the way she made me feel from the first day I met her. I felt immense love and appreciation from Meredith since the beginning of our friendship, which is hard to come by. As I began my adventure into Delta Zeta, I KNEW she was destined to be my “BIG” sister. The feeling was mutual, and she became my big sister. I’ve never had a big sister, but if I did, I imagine she would be EXACTLY like Meredith. She’s my mentor, role model, and best friend, all in one. 🌟🌟 Her Favorite Food: “Chick-Fill-A fries” She CAN’T WAIT for the Wedding Day, here’s why: “ I can’t wait to see my little marry the man of her dreams!”

Kaiti and I have known each other since Freshman year at App State where we both rushed Delta Zeta. Senior year we were roommates and ultimately, the best of friends (“Alexa, play our theme song: “just the two of us”). Everyone deserves to have a Kaiti in their life and I am so thankful for her words of wisdom, love, and constant support throughout our years of friendship. I’m also thankful for her smarty pants brain and editing skills (those came in handy during college). To say I am “blessed” to have Kaiti in my life, is a huge understatement. 🌟🌟 Her Favorite Food: “Chips, queso, and margs - especially from Dos with Madds!” She CAN’T WAIT for the Wedding Day, here’s why: “I can’t wait to party all night in celebration of my favorite couple, and watch Alex tear up the dance floor!”

Kayleigh Scarlett was introduced to me on Teens Westward Bound during the Summer of 2012. We spent Day 4 of our trip as bus partners, and from there, we were attached at the hip, exploring the USA together. There is a certain bond that traveling for 23 days and seeing 21 states together, helps you to form with another person. Gianna was one of my pledge class sisters in Delta Zeta. We share a love for Chick-Fil-A, shopping, and exploring all that Boone, NC has to offer. Another love we share is educating tiny humans. We have cried, laughed, talked, and grown in our career/friendship together. In November of 2017, we traveled to Ireland together to complete the last 5 weeks of our student teaching internship. I always prayed and hoped for a sister-in-law that I could hang out with, call at anytime, and trust with my whole heart. Taylor exceeded any and all expectations I ever had. Stephanie is Alex’s oldest sister and a huge role model in our life. She is an amazing mom with an amazing career and she is so thoughtful and caring. God could have not blessed me with a better older sister than Stephanie. I’m not only gaining one sister-in-law, but two!! He is always so spunky, happy, and creative and exemplified all the qualities of an amazing, dedicated student. I met Hannah five years ago when I became a lifeguard in Cramerton, NC. I fell in love with her sweet disposition and her caring heart. I have babysat for her and her sister for five years now, and our relationship has only grown with time. She is the definition of a role model, respectful, and genuine girl (ALSO, such a beauty!!! I mean, look at her!) When the time comes, roles will be reversed and this girl will become MY babysitter! She also can make some BOMB bacon for breakfast! It will mean the world to me for Hannah to share in my day!

I met Collins five years ago, along with her sister Hannah, when I began babysitting for her and lifeguarding for her pool. I fell in love with the sassy and spunky “Collins Way.” There is never a dull moment and she can make even the most boring adventure THE. MOST. FUN!!! Her love for life is contagious and I am blessed every day that I get to share in her life memories and growth! Collins will be the one greeting you with the biggest smile, you will know her right away! :-)
