FAQs

Question

What is the address for ceremony/reception?

Answer

The ceremony AND reception are being held at The Providence Cotton Mill, in Maiden NC. Here is the address for GPS: 4137 Providence Cotton Mill Rd Maiden, NC 28650

Question

How early should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

Please plan to be at the venue by 3:30/3:45pm to be seated. We plan to begin our ceremony at 4:00pm so that we have plenty of time for the rest of our celebration!

Question

How should I dress for your wedding?

Answer

Most importantly, we want you to be COMFORTABLE! No need to dress overly fancy but please come dressed semi-formal. Also, our venue is covered but it is open air/open window. Therefore, whatever the temperature is outside, the Mill will be about the same temperature. You may want to bring a cover up/jacket for later in the night. Keep an eye on the weather and please plan accordingly!

Question

What time will the celebration end?

Answer

Our venue has a rule that the LAST song must be played at 10:00pm. We invite you to stay until 10:00/10:15 for our sparkler send off in our special “get away” car!

Question

Where will the Honeymoon be?

Answer

We will be traveling to Oyster Bay, Jamaica for a week of RELAXATION. We may fall in love with the “all inclusive” life, so If we don’t come back home, you know where to join us!

Question

When is my RSVP card due back by?

Answer

Please send your RSVP response card back to us (by mail) on or before August 14th. Please be sure to include the names of those attending so that we can plan our seating chart accordingly. 💌

Question

COVID-19 Concerns?

Answer

Our venue has put many practices into place to ensure we have the BEST/SAFEST time: *hand sanitizing stations placed throughout venue *options to eat at “high boy”/“cocktail” tables, if you are uncomfortable sitting at a table with other guests *ability to move your chair to any location you wish during our ceremony (you determine your comfort level) *cleaning/sanitizing ALL surfaces/bathrooms every 15 minutes *dinner buffet will be served to you, by our caterers, all in masks/gloves; no guest will touch any serving utensils *bar staff will wear masks/gloves at all times 😷🦠🧴 Additional safety measures: *hand sanitizer placed on ALL tables *silicone wristbands to determine your level of comfort: pick from white band (I’m okay with hugs and talking), gray band (I’m okay with talking, but no touching please), or black band (please keep 6ft. distance). Place this wristband on your wrist (if you wish) when you enter our ceremony, and everyone will know your wishes/comfort level.

Question

Still nervous about attending due to COVID-19?

Answer

WE ARE TOO. This virus is so real, and has proven how *CRAZY* it can be. We leave the decision up to you, whether to attend, or not to attend. Please know that we respect any/all decisions. Your health is our TOP priority and we do not want to pressure you into attending our special day, if it violates your comfort level. We want to assure you that we are taking many precautions to maintain the cleanest/safest venue experience. Our venue is also ALL outdoor/open air, so you will never be in a “closed in” space at any point during the night (unless you have to tinkle from drinking too much!!). We hope the open air/outdoor setting relieves some stress! Again, please RSVP by choosing the option that you are MOST comfortable with!

Question

Mask: YES or NO? 😷

Answer

We welcome ANY/ALL masks. We are not requiring our guests to wear masks (at this time) but we certainly welcome them, and can’t wait to see you ROCK THEM (especially on the dance floor)! If you would like to bring a mask, please do! We want you to feel COMFORTABLE!

Question

Showing symptoms of COVID-19?

Answer

As much as we would LOVE to have all of you with us on our special day, we ask that you please refrain from attending if you have ANY cold/allergy/covid-like symptoms: sneezing, coughing, runny nose, fever, etc. Also, if you have been in contact with someone with symptoms, we also ask that you do not attend for safety of all attending. The safety of our guests is our number one priority and we ask that you help us in keeping our event as safe as possible!
