In our humble opinion, there is nothing more beautiful than Vermont in the late summer! Leaves are starting to change their color, but the weather is still divine, and gives you a variety of awesome activities to enjoy and places to see. Aside from this list, if you have access to a car, we'd highly recommend driving around a bit and explore on your own. Route 17 from Waitsfield to Bristol or Route 100 to Route 125 to Middlebury are very scenic, but steer clear if it's questionable weather. You'll be driving over some crazy mountains!

Warren Falls

Weather permitting, we highly recommend taking a dip in Warren Falls! A popular swimming hole, the falls are a beautiful relief from hot weather. And if the weather's cold, it's still darn beautiful!
