Maid of Honor
My sister and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember (a solid 26 years to be exact 😉). We've taken on everything as a team whether it was sports, school, and now work - hello adulting - we always have each other’s backs. We love to laugh both with and at each other 😂 and no matter the distance between us we remain day one status - multiple 5am getting ready for work phone calls def help 🤪! There is no one in this world that I adore more than my sister, and it is amazing to see all she has accomplished so far. Now, I legitimately can’t wait to see what the future holds for Alex^2. I would say the world is your Oyster, but you two definitely already know that 🤩 I love this couple to the moon and back 💕 TIME TO GET YOU MARRIED AND GET DOWN ON THE DANCE FLOOR
Best Man
It seems crazy to say it, but Alex and I have known each other for almost a decade now. We met as eager freshmen at Rice, quickly became best friends, and have continued to strengthen that relationship over the years. From college parties, to endless studying, to becoming post-graduate roommates in Austin, we have been through the ups and downs always supporting each other. I am so incredibly excited that these two amazing Alex’s are getting married - I love them both so much, and I can’t wait to see what life has in store for them! See you kids on the dance floor 😉

Alex and I first met our freshman year at Rice University when we both joined the powderpuff flag football for Jones College. In between late-night practices and weekend games, we realized how much we had in common and quickly found ourselves chatting away for hours on end. Since then, we have lived together and traveled together. We have bonded over books, shows, music, and drinks. We have shared both laughs and tears and have been there for each other during our happiest moments and during the struggles. Over the last (soon to be) ten years, I have seen Alex for the strong and beautiful person that she is. She is kind and generous and caring and brilliant and fun and I am so incredibly happy that she found her special person to spend the rest of her life with. Cheers to Alex and Alex!

Alex and I first met each other freshman year of high school. Weird to think its almost been 13 years. He is one of the few people in my life I've kept in contact with for that long. From high school soccer to sending rockets a mile into the air with NASA those memories really laid the groundwork for the years to come. When he got into Rice I was super excited to know someone and we became roommates. We have many memories from our years at Rice and stayed roommates/suitemates for all 4 years. I'm so happy Alex and Alex found each other and am super excited to celebrate them in May. They are both incredible people and I can't wait to see what their bright futures look like!

Alex and I first met during our medical school orientation. I could tell from the day we met that we shared the same excitement and nervousness about school. Alex’s drive inspired me more than anything. We spent long days studying together and commiserating about the next big test or application season. She was always there for me and I couldn’t have gone through those four years without her by my side. Alex and Alex were always goals in my eyes. I knew Alex was the one for her when I saw the way they worked so well together when they dominated game nights. I’m so excited to be a part of the wedding day!

In the 23 years that I’ve known Alex he has always been a huge role model and support system for me. I have watched you accomplish so much, I am excited to see you begin this new chapter in your life. You have always been such a loving brother to me so I know you will be a loving husband to Alex. I can’t wait to see the amazing things you both accomplish in the future, I’m so happy for y’all and I wish y’all a long happy marriage filled with adventure! Love both of you!

I first met Alex not long after Hurricane Harvey crashed through Houston, miraculously we were in the same group text that both saved us from being set adrift as newbies in med school. I originally thought Alex was destined to be my twinsie: we both shared the name of ‘Frances’, loved Harry Potter, and agreed that Tswift deserved to rule of the rest of us plebeians; but this girl was a class above the rest. She was (and still is) the smartest of our group and diligently dedicated to her discipline. So much so, that she drove all the way to Austin to take Step 2 and returned with a ring! I am so thrilled that Alex has found her happiness with Alex and they are embarking on the rest of their lives together. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, I am honored to be witness to your love!

I am so excited and happy for my brother and my future sister in law’s special day! Being the youngest brother I always looked up to him and he’s always been an amazing role model to follow. From every age and every aspect of life he’s always showed me how hard work and dedication can lead me to success, and I’m so proud of him for all his achievements. I remember when he first introduced the family to Alex and I knew they were the perfect match for each other. Hanging out with them is always a good time from bowling to building gingerbread houses! I’m so happy they have each other and I can’t wait to celebrate with them!
Officiant
Alex Brown and I first met our freshman year at Rice and Alex Lamas came into my life the following year. Apart from sharing the same name, they also shared the initial impression that they were shy and quiet… that is until they warmed and everything changed. I’d like to think they have really warmed up to me given the past 8+ years have been filled with days and nights of antics, fun and laughter, typically at each other. It was when they started dating that I truly got to know each of them as an individual - because they were finally complete with one another. I am so honored to be chosen to officiate this wedding and can’t wait to celebrate the two of you! Can I get an Amen?
