Airport
There are two major airports in Costa Rica - Guanacaste (airport code: LIR), and San Jose (airport code: SJO). Flying into Guanacaste Airport (LIR) is the closest option to Tamarindo, which is a little over an hour drive vs a 4+ hr drive from San Jose (SJO). Most of the larger cities have some direct flights and those are worth keeping an eye out for!

Our planning team, Mil Besos, will gather your flight details once you submit your information using the room reservation link below. Since Uber is not available in Costa Rica, they will arrange drivers to greet you at the airport. If you prefer a rental car, they can take care of that as well. Just let them know how many people are in your party and your travel dates so they can provide an accurate quote. Also, if you plan to rent a car, Google Maps will work in the Tamarindo area, but we recommend Waze if you're extending out your trip and want to venture to other spots. Sunset Catamaran Cruise
Alessandra and David will be enjoying a Sunset Catamaran Cruise on the afternoon of Wednesday June 5th. Please opt in below if you would like to join this experience. Silently glide along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast while passing some of Guanacaste’s exotic bays, white sand beaches and tropical jungles. Gaze off the bow with a cold tropical drink prepared and served by the crew as you scan the seas for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish or even a breaching whale. Stop in a tranquil bay, drop anchor in the blue Pacific. Snorkel in the bay or relax on the white sand beach while the ever-helpful crew prepares a delicious lunch.
