Yes! In accordance with NYS guidances, all guests have a mandatory covid test to complete 72 hours before the wedding. You can get your covid test at a City MD or any participating facilities. If you do not take your covid test and come to the venue, you will be denied entrance. The health and safety of all of our guests is at the forefront of our minds. If you are not feeling well, please make sure you are taking proper precautions and quarantining after your covid test/ before your attendance at our wedding.
First, congrats! Second, if you have currently received both does of the Covid-19 vaccine (any of the different brands), you should have received a vaccine card. I strongly advise that you make a front and back copy of the card, laminate it, and bring it with you. You are exempt from the 72-hour mandatory test to enter the venue if you have valid proof of the vaccine (aka your vaccine card). Andrew and I are also vaccinated, but I strongly advise you to take a covid test as well just to ensure that you are safe, healthy, and ready to party.
Until we have updated guidelines from the state and city, as well as seeing how case numbers either dwindle or expand in the next few months, there is a strong possibility we can not have the full guest count that we are anticipating. As always, we will keep everyone posted on numbers and guidelines. We hope you can all attend, but if that is out of our hands, we hope you will understand and still celebrate with us although we might not physically be together!
In some cases, yes. For example, in order to attend the church, you must wear your mask unless you are one of the few individuals who have permission to take them off at some point in the ceremony (ie: parents of the bride and groom and members of the bridal party). We are still waiting for guidelines from the venue how social distancing/ PPE wearing will be structured. Andrew and I will have masks and hand sanitizer at your disposal throughout the day. Let's make sure we are partying safely!
