We went here for our first Valentine's day together - our favorite experience based sky scraper!
Our first Broadway show together was - of course - Hamilton! Who doesn't love the history of the first Secretary of the Treasury Department, the first US Bank, and the creativity of Lin-Manuel Miranda after all! "And I'm not throwin' away my shot I'ma get a scholarship to King's College"
We love summer walks in central park. Perhaps the Harlem Meer, Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, Belvedere Castle, Sheep Meadow, and the Central Park Zoo are some of our favorite spots.
The MET has amazing painting and artifacts you can easily spend a full day and not finish seeing everything, but if you want our advice, the American Wing is unbeatable and for the impressionist lovers Monet has some beautiful water lilies in the in the 19th and early 20th Century European Paintings.
One of our favorite places to visit at sunset is the Brooklyn Bridge. Walk from Manhattan toward Brooklyn and you’ll end up really close to DUMBO—there are some amazing photo spots in the area and our favorite shops: Jacques Torres Chocolate (get the ice cream it's super delicious).
Sometimes we would need a little break from city noise and business - the closest we can get to quiet life is Roosevelt Island. Take the cable car tram, take a book and relax in the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park.
Our favorite local bakery in Morningside Heights. They have the best carrot cake!
We love the Lego store on Fifth Ave!
