If you’ve heard our love story before, you know there are two parts to it: 1) Our Macroeconomics Class 2) Our Christian Fellowship at Columbia The Lord works in mysterious ways — one of them was the first day of class, when Thaddaeus arrived late. Aleska was puzzled by who the loud guy in sunglasses was, saying "hi" to a whole row of people before taking a seat. Little did they know they would attend the same Christian fellowship and eventually strike up a conversation about lithium reserves in South America, the state of economies, and their ideas for business and development. A simple conversation turned into two hours of endless laughter and big dreamers sharing ideas — then into weekly lunches, and most importantly, sitting together in class. The rest is history, but we praise the Lord every day because: “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” — James 1:17
