In the city, the taxi service is easy to access. We recommend using the app Uber, Indrive, or Taxi Taxi. A ride from the airport into the "Walled City" is approximately COP 30.000 ($8). If you are going to hail a taxi, confirm first how much the taxi will cost before entering the vehicle.

Rafael Nunez International Airport (CTG) in Cartagena is known for having long immigration line, especially during peak travel times. It is common for the process to take 1.5 to 2 hours after landing. Please keep this in mind when booking your flights or making plans for your arrival day. We recommend giving your self plenty of buffer time so you can settle in and start enjoying Cartagena stress-free! Pro tip: Bring snacks, download a podcast, and channel your inner zen traveler.
