Question

Are you requiring everyone to be vaccinated?

Answer

While we really hope that everyone who can attend will be vaccinated, we are asking those who will not be to please provide a negative COVID-19 test within 24 hours prior to our event. And if you are not able to take a test, we ask that you please stay home - this will help ensure your safety and the safety of everyone there! If you don't know where to get a COVID-19 test in your area, you can usually find tests at CVS or Wegmans, or you can search using this link!: https://curative.com/search

Question

Do I have to wear a mask?

Answer

Yes! DC currently requires masks at indoor gatherings unless eating or drinking. Please plan to bring one!

Question

What COVID-19 protocols will you have in place?

Answer

Our venue is indoor/outdoor, and weather pending, we plan to have much of it outdoors. Throughout the event, we should also have all the doors open in order to maximize air flow. Hand sanitizer will be available and we will be following DC's mask mandate/COVID protocols as well. We also ask that only vaccinated individuals, or those willing to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 24 hours of our event, RSVP yes to our event. While we wish we could accommodate everyone, we want to be as safe as possible for our friends and family. More information to follow - and thanks for your flexibility as COVID rules in the city keep changing!

Question

Your reception will be on a Friday!? What were you thinking?

Answer

We know we picked an atypical day, but we want to leave the whole weekend for everyone to enjoy themselves! And let's face it - weddings can be stressful, even for attendees, so we'd like you to have an extra day afterwards to relax.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 15th - and feel free to contact us if you have any concerns (we know our invite came out late...serious case of procrastinating!)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dresscode is cocktail/semi-formal, whichever is most comfortable for you.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We're planning to have a buffet so that anyone with food restrictions can take as much or as little of each option as they would like. However, if you have a serious food allergy, please let us know so that we can make special accommodations as needed.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

While there is no dedicated parking lot on site, there is limited street parking and a few paid parking garages in the immediate area. Our venue is also within a 10 minute walk from the closest metro station, and Lyft is a great option too!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are still working out our final guest count and we'll include this information on the invitation if we can. But if your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! If not, then we appreciate your understanding - though we would like to accommodate everyone, our venue unfortunately has a very strict guest limit. We are also unsure what the new rules on social gatherings will be and want to wait for more guidance.

Question

Anything else?

Answer

We're looking forward to celebrating with everyone and appreciate your flexibility. With COVID, DC protocols keep changing and so please check back for the latest info! You can also reach out to us anytime as well :)
