Derrick and Alese met on Hinge "the dating app that's meant to be deleted." After weeks of talking on-line they set a date to meet. Covid had other plans. The day of their 1st date, he called to tell her his work partner tested positive for covid. At the time Alese was working on an ambulance and decided covid was not a good idea for her patients. They texted during their 1st date scheduled time only to find they were watching the same show, "How I met your Mother"! When they finally met in person Derrick chose a Japanese restaurant. Alese walked in to find a Giant German Man patiently waiting at a tiny table in the center of the restaurant. He did not know how to use chop sticks, although he had watched a you tube video before dinner! Alese knew at that point that only a good man put that much energy and time into a stranger. But....... Little did Alese know that Derrick was secretly a super secret ninja spy and the whole date was just a cover for Derrick to obtain the formula for cold fusion and thus save all of humanity!!!!
