Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our doors will open at 3:30pm. We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the official ceremony start to ensure you're seated and ready for the festivities.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that you wear formal to semi-formal attire such as cocktail-length dress, dressy separates, or a suit and a tie. The venue does not permit blue jeans or sneakers. Please be mindful that our bridesmaids will be wearing shades of rose and mulberry. The groomsmen will be wearing tan suits, and the groom will be in a green suit. We can't wait to see you all dressed up!

Will the festivities take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, surrounded by the beauty of nature. The reception will follow in a beautiful tented space on the estate grounds. In case of rain: Don't worry—we have a backup plan! If the weather doesn't cooperate, the entire event will be moved into the tent. The tent can be fully enclosed to keep everyone warm, or opened up with fans to create a breezy atmosphere, depending on the weather. We will also have access to the estate house, which has heating and air conditioning, to ensure everyone stays comfortable no matter the conditions outside. We recommend dressing in layers and bringing a light jacket or shawl just in case the temperatures drop in the evening.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

If you are driving to the venue, look out for the green mailbox that says “Appleford” at the top of the driveway. From the driveway, keep left at the split, follow the signs to the guest parking area, and walk past the pond and up to the main house. There will be a shuttle service leaving Element Valley Forge King of Prussia. The shuttle will make two pick-ups at 2:40 PM and 3:30 PM. Please plan accordingly, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Transportation back to the hotel at the end of the night will also be provided. Your safety is our top priority! To ensure everybody has a fun and safe time at our celebration, we kindly ask that you refrain from drinking and driving.

What is your policy on bringing a plus one and/or kids?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus one, they will be listed on your RSVP. As much as we love your little ones, we've decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration with the exception of our ring bearers and flower girls. We encourage you to use the wedding as a date night!

Are there hotel accomodations?

Answer

Yes! We have a block of hotel rooms available at Element Valley Forge King of Prussia. Please see the travel tab for more information.

Will there be dancing or an after-party?

Answer

The party continues! Please join us for pizza and drinks at the Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel's lobby area promptly after the reception.
