On January 23, 2018 Ben and Stephanie matched on Tinder while attending West Chester University. Stephanie was actually convinced by mutual friends to reach out to Ben. From their first match they planned to meet for a date at the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall (also known as the castle on campus). After their first date, they continued to see each other every day! Their love has grown through hard times, especially long distance between Pennsylvania and Florida, and distance between Pennsylvania and New Jersey during the pandemic. But their love has grown through milestones such as graduating college, to securing jobs/promotions, becoming an aunt and uncle, and eventually moving in to their first place in Montclair, NJ. In January of 2025, they will be celebrating 8 years together!

On September 17, 2023, they returned to West Chester for the yearly Chester County Food Festival, a festival they attend every year. While stopping at the concert hall to take some nostalgic photos, Ben popped down on one knee to ask the question. After she said “YES”, Stephanie was surprised by all her friends and family. Together they toasted and celebrated the newly engaged couple, and even grabbed a few bites at the festival.
