Here are a few of our favorite sites near the venue, from when we lived in Litomyšl!

The longest town square in Europe, Litomyšl's main square (Smetanovo naměstí) is as beautiful as it is historic, and is full of cafes, shops, and restaurants.

Litomysl Town Square

A museum unlike any other you've been to! See the gorgeous and intricate paintings that cover every square inch of this historical home, created by famous Czech artist Josef Váchal.

Portmoneum

This Italian-style renaissance castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site! Its French and English gardens are worth a visit as well.

Litomysl Castle

Located across the street from the castle, this is maybe our favorite place in Litomyšl. Catch a public concert, or just take in the view of the city!

Monastery Gardens

A beautiful hiking trail that weaves through interesting rock formations. Stop at Hotel Chata Polanka at the trailhead for lunch or a beer afterwards!

Toulovcovy Mastale

This was our go to cafe in town. Czech out their cozy patio!
