Mrs. Banks and Mrs. Deibel met one sunny afternoon in Silver Spring Maryland. Gordon and Geoff were still in the womb, but living right down the street from one another, they became best friends. The two sang together (and acted!) in multiple talent shows and musicals, had neighborhood adventures, and have kept in close contact over the years. Gordon is now a successful restaurant owner and operator in the Washington DC area, and a proud father and husband.
Aga Crump
Maid of Honor
Aga Crump will be our Maid of Honor. She is Ola's younger sister. Aga lives in Austin, TX with her husband Andrew and two darling children Lila and Levi. Her profession is as a counselor and she works in the area of maternal mental health.
Micala Gingrich-Gaylord
Officiant
Micala happens to be married to Zachary Gingrich-Gaylord, who Geoff got to know through working with the local NPR affiliate, KMUW (best NPR station ever!) on advertising for the Wichita Jazz Festival. Zach became Geoff's best friend in Wichita, and Ola got to know Micala through Zach's sister, Erin Gingrich-Gaylord, who lives in Kansas City. Micala is an amazing human being, Director of Corporate Engagement for one of the region's largest assisted living facilities, one of Wichita's 40 under 40, and someone who brings people together. Superwoman.
