"How did you guys meet?" is always such a fun question for Jose & Jessie to answer, mainly because, "We met on Bumble," is typically met with wide eyes and a, "No way! You should be on their commercial!" For those who may not know, Bumble is a dating app where you swipe to "match" with a potential date. And when Jessie "swiped" on Jose, she crossed her fingers and hoped he'd like her back. And as luck would have it, he did, and there was a "new bee in her hive." As usual, Jessie wasted no time in reaching out to Jose. Her famous first words were, "Blake Shelton, nice choice! [insert super cool finger guns]" in response to a lyric Jose had on his profile. To which Jose thought to himself: "Who is this Cuban girl trying to pretend she likes country music?" Oh boy...little did he know... Jose & Jessie had their first date on a Wine Wednesday where Jessie learned that Jose worked for his family business--a trait she deeply admired--and Jose learned that Jessie owned a cupcake business, which was impressive and interesting to him. It didn't take long for them to start spending every minute together, nor for Jose to learn that Jessie was in between apartment leases. So, he politely offered to have her "temporarily move in" until she figured out what her next move was. However, as Jose tells the story, Jessie simply never left! So, in the meantime, Jose introduced Jessie to a world of cars, boats, and Bitcoin, and Jessie taught Jose all about hotels, HR, and wine, and the rest is history. But looking back, a major part of that history has always been at the heart Jupiter, FL, where Jose told Jessie he loved her for the first time, explored new places, made countless memories, and celebrated their engagement. So, they thought to themselves, "What better place to live "alegre" ever after than to return to where it all truly began?" And we can only hope this place is as magical for you as it is for us.
