Wedding Party

Meet our bridesmaids and groomsmen!

Aleena Bando

Bride

Kevin McClean

Groom

Laura Day

Maid of Honor

“Aleena and I met in freshman year of high school because we had mutual friends that told us we needed to be friends. Neither of us are close with those people anymore, but it’s one of those magical things that makes it feel like everything happens for a reason! We share an insane amount of memories from the past 20+ years. We went through our awkward teen years together, lived together in Brighton after college, have taken many vacations and weekend trips together, and she’s the person who’s visited me the most while I've lived in Los Angeles since 2012. Everything we do together is fun! I can’t imagine my life without such a warm and sparkly presence, which I know everyone else who knows her agrees with, so I am totally honored to be her Maid of Honor!!! DON’T YOU TEST THESE BESTIES!”

Andrew McClean

Best Man

“My favorite memories of Kevin are of our times together at the lake. He always seems to have a limitless amount of positive energy that is infectious to those around him. He's so willing, and wanting, to share his happiness (and cottage drinks) with everyone. This is the Kevin that we all love!”

Emily Kenniston

Bridesmaid

"I'm Emily and I met Aleena our freshman year at UMass Amherst. Since then my life has become infinitely better. We spent our college years "studying" and "going to class". When Amherst couldn't handle us anymore, we took on Boston. All of my favorite memories include Aleena. She makes me laugh so hard I cry, and if I happen to be crying she will have me laughing in no time. Everyone deserves to have a friend like Aleena and I'm so lucky to call her mine. Go UMass."

Groomsman

"When Kevin asked me to be in his wedding, I couldn't really describe what I was feeling. Goosebumps. That's probably the best way to put it. I've known Kevin for years, and whenever he's around, you'll end up laughing until your sides hurt, and come home with a story you'll be telling for years... and don't get me started on his generosity. He's genuinely a great guy, and I'm honored to be a part of this celebration."

Leah Gregoire

Bridesmaid

"Aleena and I met in 9th grade at Doherty High School. I thought she was so fashionable and fun and was glad that we ended up in classes together that year! We used to write a ridiculous amount of notes to each other throughout high school and would go on fantastic adventures in her land yacht. As the years went on, so did all the costume parties and real parties, like the time we helped our bestie Brody Jenner celebrate his bday in Vegas! (jk we've done way cooler stuff than that). She is a real-life angel and the Godmother to my daughter, and I couldn't be happier for her and Kevin! Let the party begin!"

Groomsman

"Kevin and I are cousins. He is always up for an adventure. Years ago a group of us were away for a ski trip. He boldly claimed that he could eat 10 feet worth of Swiss Cake Rolls. He attempted this after a full day of skiing, Apres-Ski drinks and two bread bowls of chili. Surprisingly he ate 5-6 feet worth. Unsurprisingly, he then took a nap on the living room floor. Kevin is the most generous and welcoming person I know. When my wife and I first started dating I asked him if she could join us for a trip to Maine. He fully welcomed her and made her feel completely included. Kevin and I both have brothers of our own. That said, I have always felt more like brothers with Kevin than just cousins. I love him and he is a tremendous person that I'm lucky to have in my life."

Amelia Matton

Bridesmaid

"I met Aleena in what seems to be a lifetime ago while attending different high schools and in the 20+ years since, I’m hard pressed to think of any special occasion or straight up good time for one of us that the other wasn’t present at, including but not limited to, swapping prom dresses over the bathroom stall in 2001, a girls trip to Vegas and the baptism of my first child. Becoming an adult with Aleena by my side has been a pleasure because she’s always thoughtful, cheerful and optimistic, offsetting my inner Dorothy Zbornak."

Matt DeCoste

Groomsman

"Hello! Kevin and I have known each other for 30 years. Our mothers are sisters so we decided to be cousins. Over the years we have enjoyed numerous ski trips, Maine weekends & Patriots games together. When I was 6 years old and Kevin was 12, I told Kevin that it wouldn't hurt if he punched me in the stomach while wearing a life jacket. Kevin enthusiastically obliged. Kevin quickly got yelled at by our parents while I painfully walked away with a big smirk. Kevin and I lived together for 4 years at The Terrace, where I got to see him rush out the door, probably late, for his first date with Aleena! I can't wait to see the "Kevin Dance" in full effect on July 10th."

Ashley Cook

Bridesmaid

"I think I met Aleena sometime in 2008, through Laura Day! Laura told me all about her best friends affectionately called Homeloaf while we were out on Warped Tour, and I couldn't wait to get up to Worcester to meet everyone. Within minutes of my first visit, I knew that I would be fast and longtime friends with this amazing group of people. We've had over a decade of adventures since - from trips to Maine, the Cape and Block Island, to seeing Taylor Swift and Friday Game Nights on Zoom. My life would feel a little less sparkly without Aleena's infectious laugh and sage advice. Being able to talk about anything, no matter how long we've gone without seeing each other IRL, is truly a special thing, and I'm so excited to be part of this next step in her and Kevin's lives!"

Aurnab Robi Bandopadhyay

Groomsman

Hi! I'm Aleena's younger brother Aurnab. It's been so nice getting to know Kevin over these last three years, and I can honestly say that I can't think of anyone more perfect for my sister. Kevin already feels like family. I'm honored to be a part of their special day.

Alison Perry

Bridesmaid

"I met Aleena during the first week of Freshman year at Doherty High School. Laura (fellow bridesmaid) told me about a new girl she met named Aleena, and I simply couldn't believe that someone so cool and amazing could exist, and so I thought Aleena was a fake, made up person for a full 24 hours. Imagine my delight when I learned that Aleena was real, and we have been persistently complimenting each other ever since. Lovingly referred to as "the Als," Aleena and I have continued to have an insane amount of fun over the last 15+ years. We are known for our shared ridiculous, over-the-top laughter."
