Why Colorado
Colorado has always held a special place in our hearts. Serena went to the University of Colorado Boulder, Alec to the University of Denver — and throughout those years, we’d see each other often between Boulder and Denver. Those visits helped us strengthen our friendship, and eventually, build the foundation for the love we share today.
It was during this time that we both fell in love with everything Colorado has to offer — the crisp mountain air, the beauty of nature, the peacefulness of the outdoors, and the welcoming, laid-back vibes that make CO so special.
After years of living in fast-paced Chicago, we couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. Colorado grounds us, brings us joy, and reminds us of the simple, beautiful moments we want to carry into our marriage.
We are so excited to share this magical place with our closest friends and family, and can’t wait for you to experience the beauty that means so much to us.
