Maid of Honor- Stephanie
High School Partner in Crime
Sami and Stephanie met in high school speech as storytellers. After over 10 years, they have many stories to tell. She threatened Alec the first time she met him, but since then, the two are as thick as the Bloody Mary's they love. SJ and Stephanie traveled the world to create memories together, including a Harry Potter London Tour and countless beers in Des Moines and Minneapolis.
Best Man- Greg
Whisky and Dad Joke Expert
Greg and Alec became best homies while cleaning and preparing their Drake senior house Bungalow- a year to be remembered. For the next 5 years, they stormed the streets of DSM together. Greg brewed the whisky, and Alec was his taste tester. A lover of frolf and board games, Greg is a genuine friend, and Alec is lucky to have him as his Best Man.
Maid of Honor- Isabelle (Izzy)
Hostess with the Mostest
Sami knew Izzy was cool the moment she met her. Their relationship has grown far beyond their undergrad years at Drake, Izzy was the first person to bring SJ to Colorado before she ever met Alec! Now they spend time at shopping T.J. Maxx, eating the great food, and supporting eachother's ambitions. She is the only one SJ would wake up at 5am to work out with.

Boss Baby All Grown Up
Jd can rock a dapper business suit just as well as he can rock a space-cat sweatshirt with a backwards sports cap. JD and Alec bonded by pushing each other, whether it was toward financial or physical gains. You’ll likely find him getting down on the dance floor and getting to know every single person in attendance.
Bridesmaid-Caitlin
Keeping Alec in line since 1999
Alec's sister and Master Pastry Chef (appointed by Alec) Caitlin joined the couple in Des Moines when she attended Drake University. Through a crazy aligning of the cosmos, Caitlin, SJ, Annika, and Jill (Alec's Mom) all lived in the exact same Delta Gamma sorority room! Whether it's cooking, dog sitting, or good tunes you can count on Caitlin for a good time.
Groomsman- Ren
A Better Teacher than Bill Nye
Ren is one of Alec’s longest friends. They have been causing a ruckus for 8 years ever since Ren visited Alec’s hometown in CO for spring break in 2015. He is one of the most loving and caring individuals you’ll find out there, his empathy knows no bounds. He is a passionate science teacher, dog dad, and he sure shakes up a mean Old Fashioned!

SJ's Yogi Sister-Cousin
When Sami Jo was born 25 years ago, Annika thought she looked like an alien. Not, the cousins are more like sisters, especially after going to Drake and living in Des Moines. They'll be tearing it up on the dance floor to Nelly or giving fancy cheek kisses. Annika has helped Sami stay sane through all of their yoga sessions and milestone celebrations.

Our Trivia MVP
Sami's younger brother Zach and Alec both attend Iowa State, Go Cyclones! He knows all the trivia about sports, movies, and music. Steadfast, mellow, and thoughtful he always found a way to set his sister off (when they were little) but now, he has always finds a way to calm her down. He's the best dog Uncle to Shyla and the best "little" (taller) brother Sami could have wanted!
Bridesmaid- Alyssa
Bae and Musical Connoisseur
Alyssa and Sami bonded during orientation in line for Paul Revere's. They spent practically every moment together at Drake since they were both Music Education majors an in Delta Gamma! Her passionate spirit and fierce loyalty have always impressed SJ. Singing around the world, living together, and fostering each other's passions made these two life long baes.
Groomsman- Mitchell
Old Soul Kluck
Always a gentleman, Klocke and SJ met swing dancing at the Drake foam party, but for Alec, Mitchell always was the voice of reason and was the President of their fraternity as an underclassman. Another fellow teacher, he coached his middle softball team all the way to the championships, a testament to his leadership. From Friendsgiving to 4th of July, Klocke is always a welcoming and standup host.
Bridesmaid- Olive
More fun than Halloween
Olive and SJ connected first because of their MN Roots and Delta Gamma membership but SJ quickly realized Olive is fiercely loyal and dedicated to her loved ones, her cats, and her career. One of SJ's happiest memories is walking the beach in the Dominican Republic with Olive and a few friends. SJ can't wait to get all dressed up and boogie with Olive by her side!

Coolest Colorado Cousin
Rilyn is the resident goofball and Alec's cousin. Rilyn operates with the freedom of mind many could only hope to achieve. He lives for the moment and as more life experience than most. Whether he’s traveling the world, climbing the flatirons in a scuba suit or walking over the edge of a 200’ cliff on a rope 3 inches wide he always manages to find his way home to the ones he loves.
Junior Bridesmaid- Reese

Reese is Alec’s sister, and the comedian of the family. Since she was a little girl, she loved to make people simile and laugh with her quirky personality. She is an excellent basketball player periodically playing for varsity during her sophomore year!
The Officiant- Joe
Our Favorite Troubadour Doctor
Joe and SJ were Day 1 besties at Drake University. Through their undergrad years Alec and Joe became closer in their fraternity, and ended up living in the same senior house. A charismatic, thoughtful, and loyal friend (think Golden Retriever type), the couple couldn't imagine anyone better to perform their ceremony!

Most Likely to Trip Reese
Graysn is Alec’s youngest sister and the future Annika Sorenstam of the golfing world. She proved her golfing prowess by beating the entire family at TopGolf this past Christmas. She is passionate and strong-headed, the perfect qualities for a bright future.

The couple couldn't walk down the aisle without their #1 pup Shyla! This 2 year old lab loves chasing her tail, fetching tennis balls, and cuddling with her parents. We are so excited she can be a part of our big day!
