The euro is the official currency of Ireland. While most banking cards should be accepted as well, it won't hurt to carry some cash on you.
Expect picturesque "Fall Weather" (Katie's favorite!). This time of year, average highs are around 55 degrees and lows are 42. It can be breezy and rainy, so please plan accordingly. With as much surrounding nature as we will be near, comfy walking shoes are strongly recommended!
We chose Bantry as our wedding location for many reasons, but transportation was not one of them. Please let us know when you have booked your flight and, based on your travel plans, we will assist you in finding the best transportation options. Most strongly recommended is to use a cab service or a rental car (see our "Travel" page for recommendations).
We have been assured that Bantry House has WiFi! We also STRONGLY recommend downloading WhatsApp so that we can communicate with one another as needed while abroad.
