FAQs

Question

When should you RVSP?

Answer

As soon as you get the official invitation! That way we can do a final head count for seating arrangements and how many people our catering provider will serve.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we do love children, this event will be child free. Please make arrangements prior to the event.

Question

Am I allowed a plus one?

Answer

We are unfortunately at max capacity for the venue, so only those listed on the invitation are able to come. Once again, it is a child free wedding. So if you have children, please make arrangements prior to the event.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal to semi-formal. If you’re dressing in a T-Shirt that has a tuxedo design, bibbidi bobbidi back on home and change.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There is a Best Western nearby the venue, as well as The Davenport Hotels within the same area. We have linked these hotels on the Travel section.

Question

Will Rory (our dog) be at the wedding?

Answer

While Rory is the belle of the ball, she unfortunately will have to stay home as her fathers get hitched. But please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Question

What if I’m not too comfortable with the idea of two men getting married?

Answer

If any of your beliefs reflect any kind of bigotry towards the union of two people of the same gender, we ask you to bow out from coming to the wedding. This is a celebration of love and we wish to share this day with those who truly wish us nothing but the best.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 30 minutes before the ceremony. Once the ceremony begins, the doors will be closed for entry until after the ceremony has concluded.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar up until a certain point. We are prepaying for drinks but is limited to $250. Once that limit has been reached, you will have to pay for every drink after.

Question

The wedding is in October, is anything spooky going to be there??

Answer

We understand October may be a scary time for some, but rest assured, we promise there will be nothing scary except Jon and I’s dance moves. Felt like making a silly question. I mean, nobody told me I can literally make ANY question/answer I want on our website. I can feel the POWER! Okay, I’m done LOL

Question

What is the dinner menu for the reception? Will there be vegetarian or gluten free options?

Answer

We will be having Boursin Chicken, topped with a creamy sauce, spinach, and artichoke. Paired with roasted baby potatoes and honey and all spiced vegetables. Completed with a side of Caesar salad. There will be options to do gluten free *and/or* vegetarian meals. Ahead of the wedding, we will be checking in and seeing who needs these specific options.

For all the days along the way
