Back in February of 2018, Jonathan Bliesner came across a dating profile, with the name Alec Hernandez. Jonathan took a chance and sent Alec a message. After the first few messages sent back forth, it was clear to the both of them that there was chemistry. So they decided to meet up for some coffee. The two met at a coffee shop around 2 and instantly hit it off. Sharing laughs, sharing stories of family pets. Learning more about each other. Before they knew it, 3 hours had passed. Alec had plans to go to the movies after the coffee date, but said to himself before meeting up that if the date was going well, he’d ask Jon to accompany him. Which Jon happily agreed to. So what was meant to be a 3 hour date turned into 7 hours. Before they parted ways that night, Alec asked if there was a chance to do this again. Jon enthusiastically said, “absolutely!”. The rest was history. They dated for a year before eventually moving in together, would become quarantine buddies during the pandemic, helped each other grow independently as much they grew together, and finally getting engaged in September of 2022. The two have a saying to each other: “You and me? You and me.” A phrase that affirms to each other that no matter what, good or bad, they are in this life together. On October 19th 2024, join them as they say the ultimate promise to each other. “You and me? You and me.”
