Do you have to stay at Hotel Belo?

Answer

No - feel free to stay anywhere on Isla Mujeres of your liking! Also, note that if you are wishing to spend time with the wedding party at the pool, there is an option for non-guests to enter the beach or pool area by paying a one-time fee per day of $130 US dollars for the guest pass.

Is this a kid friendly event?

Unfortunately, the wedding and reception will be adults only (18+). Outside of that, feel free to bring the whole family and make this trip your own.

What is Avenida Miguel Hidalgo?

Answer

This is a pedestrian street that is the center of Isla Mujeres. Known for its live music (especially at night), you will also find many small hotels, ice cream parlors, coffee shops, souvenirs, boutiques, and restaurants/bars with outdoor tables on Hidalgo Avenue.

What can I expect the weather to be like in July?

This one is easy... WARM. The consistent temperature is expected to be around 90 degrees all day - every day. There will be a gentle breeze (or so we hope!), but plan for the heat with light and airy clothes, hats, and sunglasses - and of course a bathing suit for the ocean and pools!
