Our venue is about a 1hr 30min drive from BGR. This airport is much closer to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park for those looking to visit while you are here.

Getting Around
Maine is a rural state! We would advise guests to have access to a car while here. You will not be able to rely on Ubers or other ride-share apps while outside of larger cities (Waldoboro is not a large city!) Having a car will also allow you to see the other beautiful sights Maine has to offer!

If you are in need of lodging, we recommend looking for places to stay in the nearby towns of Boothbay, Rockland, Newcastle/Damariscotta and Camden. Not only are these easy to get to from our venue, but they also offer a look at quintessential coastal Maine towns. Check out B&Bs for a local experience!

Labor Day Weekend
Summer is peak travel season in Maine. Labor Day Weekend is one week after our wedding. Please keep this in mind when looking to book your travel. We would recommend booking on the early side to take advantage of the best offers. We would also recommend keeping holiday/summer traffic in mind while planning your travel itineraries.
