Anna and Alec met freshman year at Notre Dame. They crossed paths for a few years and were friends for a few more. Despite Alec knocking the wind out of Anna in gym class, studying together in Australia, and sharing a friend group in college... it was not until she was living in Chicago and he in Los Angeles, that they admitted the feeling they had when together was special. They began "meeting in the middle" with trips like Elk Fest in Colorado and goat yoga in Oregon. Quickly, navigating long distance and seeing each other every other month was not enough. Anna loves to tell Alec, "My wagon is hitched to your wagon". Alec likes to think his sports teams are wagons. Their wagons successfully moved to San Francisco for a few years, before parking in Baltimore. They continue to travel all over for friends and family celebrations. If it is a road trip, their cats Zola and Milk Man, will be there too. Anna and Alec's families live on opposite coasts, with siblings all over. But when they got engaged, both families made the trip to NYC for a surprise just as sweet as the proposal. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We're excited to see those that can make it to Jamestown this summer, our favorite island in Rhode Island!
