Bde Maka Ska
We love the chain of lakes that include Harriet, Bde Maka Ska (Calhoun) and Isles. We walked some of these lakes on our first date and Christian proposed at Lake Bde Maka Ska (Calhoun). It is a great area to get outside for some fresh air and take in the fall colors or just do some fun people watching.
Royal Foundry Craft Spirits
If craft cocktails in a fun atmosphere are your thing, check out Royal Foundry. We always have a good time here and love playing "Skittles" (their version of bowling). We even went here on our sixth anniversary right before Christian proposed.
Up-Down Minneapolis
Up-Down is a fun place to go when you are feeling nostalgic for an old fashion arcade game. This place is packed with old-school arcade games and other fun things to do.
Minneapolis Institute of Art
We are big art lovers and members of the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Admission to this art museum is free, but we also often like to check out the visiting exhibit which is sometimes an added cost, but never too expensive.
Can Can Wonderland
Artist created mini golf! Have some crazy mini golf fun at this unique corse. They also have some fun adult beverages or you can go up to the attached brewery.
