What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the ceremony, so around 5pm. This way everyone can be seated and ready for the ceremony to start. If you arrive a little earlier the Alcantara tasting room is open and you can purchase a glass of wine to enjoy prior to the ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semiformal (Cocktail). But we want you to feel comfortable, so keep in mind that there will be uneven surfaces (grass and unpaved paths). We suggest avoiding any shoe with a thin heel. Also if you get cold easily we suggest a light jacket because it can get windy and a little chilly at night.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Covid has caused us to really narrow down our guest list and in order to make sure everyone we love is included plus ones may be limited.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your invitation includes the names of children (or is address as The ___ Family) , yes. If not, we prefer if it was just parents night out.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is free parking for any guest that would like to drive to the venue. When you arrive at the venue there will be directions of where to park.

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

Please RSVP online! We will not be sending a physical RSVP card!

Where is the ceremony? Where is the reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at Alcantara Vineyards in Cottonwood, Arizona. 3445 S Grapevine Way Cottonwood, Arizona 86326

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Beautiful! May in Cottonwood is the most beautiful part of the year. During the day the temperature will be mid to high 80s and will get a little cooler in the evening with lows being in the 50s. It also can be a little windy so please keep that in mind when deciding what to wear.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/post on social media?

Answer

No pictures during the ceremony! Please feel free to take and post as many pictures as you like before the ceremony, during cocktail hour and the reception. But please leave the ceremony to the wonderful professionals we have hired to capture our special day!

What happens between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We will be doing a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception. This will allow us to take more pictures of the wedding party and give all our wonderful guest a chance to walk around and enjoy the vineyards before it gets dark.

What food will be served and what if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We will be having BBQ from a local cottonwood restaurant. There will be a vegetarian option for anyone that prefers not to eat meat. Please make sure to select your preference when you RSVP.

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

The reception will end at 10pm.

Traveling up to Cottonwood the day of the wedding?

Answer

Well Cottonwood is only an 1 hour and 30 minute drive from Phoenix it does involve taking the I-17. This freeway often has traffic which could cause delays so please plan accordingly. We advise leaving additional time to get up there! We also suggest staying up in Cottonwood the night before to enjoy the town and avoid any traffic concerns.
