When we met, we were two dorky high schoolers in chamber choir. We were two years apart in school and never really spoke to each other. Fast forward to college, when Alex was a junior at the University of Maryland and Troy was a grad student at UConn.... and Covid hit. We both moved back in with our parents in Ridgewood and happened to open up Tinder on the same day. What a coincidence it was to find someone who we knew from high school 5 years prior! From the moment we shared our first message, we had an instant connection. It was amazing to catch up with each other and find out how much we have in common. I mean, we both have the exact same career. We Facetimed every single night in quarantine until we could finally meet up in person, and were inseparable ever since. We went through a year and a half of long distance as Alex finished college back in Maryland, but we knew we would be together forever. Now 5 years later, we have our wonderful apartment together in Hawthorne, our best furry friend Stevie Nicks, and are SO excited to celebrate our love with all of you soon.
