The Estes Park area will have various weather, so it is advised that you pack layers. Weather may range from sunny, to windy and possible rain showers. Denver area will also have various weather, however it is more likely to be warmer in the Denver area compared to the mountains.

Answer

The altitude of Estes Park is approximately 7,522 ft. If you are coming to visit us from out of state, you will feel the altitude difference. Signs of altitude sickness: Fatigue, loss of appetite, sleep difficulty, nausea, shortness of breath, headache and increased heart rate. Ways to avoid altitude sickness: Drink plenty of water, medication for nausea such as acetazolamine (please be aware of side effects), be aware of your body and avoid over consuming alcohol.

Question

Where can I find lodging information?

Answer

We are in the process of booking room blocks at The Landing, and the two neighboring resorts to The Landing. We will update the website Travel section with more information about lodging as soon as possible.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, for three hours there will be open bar service. Please remember that we will be at an altitude of 7,522 ft. Alcohol consumption at altitude increases the effects of the alcohol. Please drink responsibly.
