Our story begins with an invitation to a family trip with my best friend Sarah. Her twin brothers Craig and Rob were coming from Portland. Up in northern Colorado, in a cozy cabin was where it all began. I was finishing college that week and needed some extra paper for my math final. Craig thankfully had brought his drawing journal and had extras for me to use. After finishing finals early on in the trip, we began talking about our common interests in rock hounding in the creek near the cabin. Our chats on the balcony of the cabin was where we realized we couldn’t get enough of each other’s company. After the trip, the boy’s cars needed some work done from their road trip and we were able to spend time more quality time together. Once everyone had to go back home, we were on FaceTime constantly. Six months later we were moving Alba out to Portland. Our story continues today in sunny Colorado with the beginning of our life as a married couple!
