Emily and Alanna have been best friends since meeting at USF in 2016. Emily is always available to lend an ear, which is very important as Alanna calls her everyday. Emily and Alanna would go dancing as often as they would play cards in college. Emily is very adventurous and has lived in Georgia, Florida, Texas, and, now, Maine. Emily is an eye doctor. Alanna can always rely on Emily for support, advice, a good laugh, and most importantly a long chat about the importance of women’s rights. Alanna considers Emily to be one of the smartest and funniest people she knows. Alanna and Clayman often call Emily when disagreeing and Emily always gets the final say! Colton Herman
Best Man
Brother of Clayman. Growing up, Colton and Clayman used to butt heads quite a lot, but they became much closer when Clayman was in law school; Colton and Clayman lived together in a 2 bedroom apartment. When Clayman wasn’t studying and Colton wasn’t making music, they would hang out and watch movies and tv together. He still makes music, and one of his songs is on the wedding playlist. Colton likes music, games, sports, and comedy; if we had a pool table at the wedding, he would bring his own pool cues. Colton has been reading a lot of books lately, so feel free to talk him about your favorite book.
Alex Campbell, MA
Groomsman
Clayman met Alex at the University of Arkansas through the vegan club, and they quickly became close friends. His dedication to activism was inspiring, and he and Clayman spearheaded many educational events. In Arkansas, he and Clayman would often watch shows and play games, though Alex definitely would have liked if we had spent more time being active. Alex now lives in Oregon, and he recently completed a marathon. He has been known to take on projects in his spare time, such as craft making, soap making, vegan yogurt making, learning to mix drinks, and even writing. If you know anything about Lord of the Rings, talk to Alex about it.
