Rachel and Alanna have known each other since middle school when Alanna was the new kid in a small town in MI coming from Oklahoma. From movie nights, playing volleyball together and late night talks, they are always there to support each other.

Will and Carter go way back - all the way to freshman year of high school, when random pairing for a project in world geography began a friendship that's still going strong 18 years later.
