Yes! On the day of, guests are welcome to enter the Gardens earlier to explore prior to the ceremony. The Gardens ask that once guests enter, that you do not exit and enter repeatedly. When you enter the Gardens, you will let the Tollbooth Attendant know that you are a guest for the Cohen/Scherger Wedding, and you will not be charged admission and you will be directed on where to go. We love the Norfolk Botanical Gardens and highly recommend spending some time there during your visit!
First and foremost our strong preference is that everyone attending our wedding is fully vaccinated and boosted in accordance with then-current CDC or WHO recommendations. In the event you are unvaccinated, we kindly ask that you get tested prior to attending. We do not intend on requesting proof of vaccination and/or negative test and trust that our guests will respect our wishes. We will also be respecting all applicable state, local and venue requirements in effect on the big day. Based on the most recent guidance, we do not intend on requiring masks for any part of the ceremony or reception. Obviously, circumstances may change, so we will do our best to update this FAQ as we get closer to April 2nd. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be outside. If you need any additional information to help assess your COVID comfort level, please don't hesitate to reach out!
We are as excited to have your kids at our wedding as you are! Whatever makes it easiest for you to attend and enjoy our wedding, is what we want. Just let us know how many kids are coming, how old, and their names so that we can plan for them to join us!
