This is a great mountain town with cooler temperatures if you want to escape the Denver heat. Dirk loves the miniature golf, or "midget golf" as the Dutch call it.

Estes Park

This was the location of our second date when Dirk almost killed Alanda by downplaying the length and difficulty of Bear Mountain Trail. Don't worry, there are plenty of other easy trails to choose from!

Chautauqua Park

Definitely our favorite concert venue with hiking trails as well.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

Highly recommend checking out this park for amazing views and hiking trails. *Note that reservations are required for entrance.
