We were raised in Albany Park, Chicago, a tight-knit multicultural neighborhood where many of us were first-generation kids. Most of us attended Hibbard Elementary School and lived just a few blocks apart. Our families knew each other well since we were all in the same grade. Despite seeing each other regularly in the hallways of Hibbard, then later at APMA (our middle school), and finally at Von Steuben High School, we never really interacted. It wasn't until our mid-20s that we reconnected, and from then on, our story began. Since then, it's been over 20 years of knowing each other. --------- Nos criamos en Albany Park, Chicago, un barrio multicultural y unido donde muchos de nosotros éramos hijos de primera generación. La mayoría asistimos a la escuela primaria Hibbard y vivíamos a solo unas pocas cuadras de distancia. Nuestras familias se conocían bien, ya que todos estábamos en el mismo grado.
