It all started with a game, or honestly, a lot of games. What began as a shared love for League of Legends quickly turned into late nights that stretched into early mornings. We would tell ourselves just one more game, and somehow hours would pass. Somewhere between the wins, losses, and nonstop laughter, I realized how easy it felt to talk to Alan. The kind of easy where time disappears and you don’t want the conversation to end. Eventually, we took things off screen and planned our first date. In an attempt to impress me, Alan dropped his phone straight into a hot Korean BBQ grill. It was unexpected, chaotic, and one of the funniest moments I will never forget.
