Rental Car
For guests who do not wish to drive to the event, or are connecting from other transportation options, we highly recommend the usage of Ride Hailing apps (e.g. Lyft and Uber) to arrive at the venue. Service is excellent in the area with ample drivers and generally short waits for pick up times. Fairfax is well serviced by traditional taxi services as well.

Train
In short, we are not recommending our guests use the Metro to arrive at our wedding due to closest station is 3.0 miles away and erratic service patterns. If you choose to use Metro, we recommend ride hailing or taxi service to arrive at the venue from the station. Important tips: The closest station is Vienna/Fairfax - GMU and is a terminal station for the Orange Line. There is planned major construction for the Metro system for the weekend of our wedding that will alter the service patterns for the Blue and Yellow Lines, please keep this in mind if you need to connect to those services. The yellow line will not operate below L'Enfant Plaza and the Blue Line services will terminate at National Airport and not run to Franconia/Springfield. Keep an eye on closing times, as connecting services and train services are often limited in evening hours. As stated above, plan to use rideshare services if arriving via metro.
Train
Burke Center is the closest intercity train station, 4.8 miles away and a 15 minute drive from the venue. Burke Center may be convenient for some guests and has limited services from Amtrak (NE Regional Services via Washington and Charlottesville) and rush hour services from Virginia Railway Express (Manassas Line) from Washington Union Station. Please plan to arrange local transportation such as ride hail services or taxi prior to your arrival. This is a suburban station and has no adjoining/close by hotels or other services.
Train
Washington Union Station is a major regional hub for Amtrak with frequent services for NE Regional and Acela services. Long distance trains also service the station for several routes. Metro to Vienna/Fairfax - GMU station may take 75-105 minutes depending on Metro status and taking into consideration the ground transfer options to arrive at the wedding venue. Ground Transportation options include connecting regional rail services (such as VRE to Burke Center Station) and the Washington Metro. Rental cars are also available, as well as a taxi stand and ample ride hailing services.
