From a swipe to forever, our love story is one for the ages. It all began when we met on Hinge, a modern-day twist of fate that brought us together. Our first date on September 17th was nothing short of magical. We decided to go apple picking, a quintessential fall activity that set the perfect stage for the beginning of our journey together. As we wandered through the orchard, picking apples and sharing stories, we felt an instant connection. The crisp autumn air, the vibrant colors of the leaves, and the sweet aroma of apples created a backdrop that felt like it was straight out of a Hallmark movie. We loved spending time together so much that we decided to extend our date and visit a cozy coffee shop in West Chester, where we continued to talk and laugh for hours. Little did we know that this was the start of something truly special. After our date, we each decided to showcase our culinary skills. Alan surprised Aubrie with homemade apple butter, a delightful spread that quickly became a favorite. Not to be outdone, Aubrie made Alan homemade apple dumplings, a sweet treat that perfectly complemented Alan’s apple butter. These thoughtful gestures were more than just delicious – they were the first of many heartfelt moments that would define our relationship. As our relationship grew, we could see God working in our lives, guiding us and bringing us closer together. Our faith has been a cornerstone of our journey, providing strength and direction as we built our future together. Our families quickly recognized how perfect we were for each other. Their happiness and support added even more joy to our growing love. They often remarked on how seamlessly we fit into each other's lives, enhancing and complementing each other's personalities in the best ways. Fast forward to March 30, 2024, and Alan had a surprise in store that would change our lives forever. He planned a trip to Blue Ridge Winery, a place known for its breathtaking views and exquisite wines. Amidst the rolling vineyards and under a clear blue sky, Alan got down on one knee and asked Aubrie to be his forever. With hearts full of love, Aubrie said yes, marking the beginning of our next chapter. Now, as we prepare to say “I do” on January 11, 2025, we look back on our journey with gratitude and excitement. From our first date to the proposal, every moment has brought us closer and solidified our bond. Our families are overjoyed, and we can't wait to celebrate our love with all of you, creating even more beautiful memories together!
