Question

How do I get around in Spain?

Answer

They do not have uber or lyft in Rota. Go to the travel section to find more about taxi services. There is also Lime and other scooter options.

Question

What can we expect from our beach wedding in Rota?

Answer

We are so excited to embrace the beauty and culture of Spain for our special day, and we want you to feel the warmth and vibrancy of the experience! Our wedding will have a relaxed, welcoming vibe that highlights everything we love about Spanish culture. The ceremony will be short and sweet, held in an atrium with an ocean view in the background. It will be followed by delicious tapas-style food—small plates that allow you to savor a variety of flavors. We’ll also be serving a leg of Iberico ham, a local specialty, and of course, there will be cake and other desserts to enjoy! One of the most important aspects of our celebration is creating an atmosphere where everyone can mingle, talk, and enjoy each other’s company. For this reason, there will be no assigned seating. Instead, there will be a mix of high-top and low-top tables, similar to a bar-style setup. We encourage you to find a space that works for you and feel free to move around throughout the night to meet new people and enjoy the laid-back, festive vibe. In Spain, beer, wine, and sangria are typically served during the early hours of a wedding, up until the tapas-style dinner ends. After dinner, the open bar will begin and run for four hours, during which hard alcohol will be served. Rota’s beach can get a little windy, so we suggest packing accordingly for the weather. Since we are in Spain, the celebration will also begin a little earlier than a traditional American wedding. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

When to book your flight by?

Answer

Best to book your flight 3-5 months in advance

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we absolutely adore your little ones, we kindly ask that our wedding celebration be an adults-only event. If you're planning to bring your children to Spain, we completely support that and are happy to help! If your child will be traveling with you, please RSVP with this information. We’ll use this information to help our wedding planner arrange appropriate childcare for the day of the wedding. Thank you so much for understanding! 💛
