Franschhoek valley in the heart of the Cape Winelands
A favourite of ours! Nathan and I have stayed at Chamonix Wine Farm. Its a magical place reflecting the true essence of South Africa. It has wildlife and the most amazing view. It's 5 mins drive into Franschhoek. There are many beautiful authentic South African Wine Farms situated in this area. Franschhoek itself is a beautiful town with great restaurants, speciality shops and the famous Wine Tram. (see Events) There are many varied accommodation options to choose from. Frasnschhoek is a 15-20 minute drive to 'Mountain Shadows Guest House' near Paarl.
