Question

Do turtles have thumbs?

Answer

no, they do not

Question

Where should we park for the reception?

Answer

We are hoping to reserve a number of spots in the lot to the North of the Renaissance building for those who need it. Otherwise, street/structure parking is available! You may need to walk a couple blocks. We encourage you to carpool if you can since it is a Summerfest weekend in downtown Milwaukee.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your kids! But we are only inviting children of immediate family to attend the ceremony and reception.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invite was addressed as such, you may bring a plus one. Only those who were invited will be able to RSVP on our website.

Question

Will there be vegetarian options?

Answer

Yes! We have a couple of vegetarian options in our buffet menu!

Question

Can we go right to the reception after the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! The room should be open for you to sit down and mingle until the bar and apps are ready around 5pm for the social hour. We encourage you to enjoy the Milwaukee Riverwalk if the weather is nice! The bride and groom plan to be there to socialize with their guests during this time.

Question

How far is the reception from the ceremony location?

Answer

The ceremony will be in New Berlin and the reception is in the Third Ward in downtown Milwaukee- it's about a 15-20 minute drive via the freeway. If you enter in The Black Swan Riverwalk into your maps app, it should take you straight there! (it's inside of the Renaissance building on Water street)

Question

Are there any COVID restrictions in place?

Answer

As of right now, there are no restrictions at our venue location, but we do ask that you bring a mask just in case. We will update this as we get closer to the date!
