Happily Ever After Party

Anna and Artur met on the swim team at UCSD in 2005. They became good friends and had a lot of fun adventures over the years. After college they stayed in and out of touch, but eventually reconnected in 2020 and began talking non stop. After almost a year of talking, Anna finally asked Artur to come visit in May of 2021. After visiting, Artur invited her on a "second date" to Hawaii. Anna and Artur had a magical time in Hawaii and knew there was something special going on. After more than 15 years of friendship, everything just fell into place and they quickly realized this was a once in a lifetime kind of love. They continued long distance for a year, visiting each other and going on fun vacations to make the distance less hard.

Artur moved back to San Diego in June of 2022. It wasn't long before they began talking about marriage and looking at engagement rings. On a random Wednesday evening in August, Artur suggested they go take some sunset beach photos with the drone. Anna had a sneaky suspicion, so she put on a pretty dress just in case. They went down to La Jolla, close to where they went to school, and Artur set the drone up to take some pictures. He handed her the controller for a second to "grab something" and pulled out a ring. Anna said yes immediately!

Anna and Artur decided they didn't want to wait or stress planning a wedding, they just wanted to get their newest adventure started. They are both winter mountain lovers and knew the perfect place to get married was in the snow. They decided on beautiful Whistler, Canada. Artur had grown up going to Whistler every winter with his parents, and Anna had fallen in love with Vancouver and the Whistler mountain area on various travels to Canada. So, on a windy 24 degree day they got married with just their parents present by a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains. It was a perfect day! They had an intimate ceremony written for them by their officiant that felt like she had known them forever, celebrated with some champagne while they signed the official papers, and then went off with their photographer to take some amazing photos. However, they did miss being able to share the moment with their family and friends! They are excited to celebrate their marriage and their 1 year anniversary with everyone that means so much to them!
