It all started with a swipe on Tinder (yes, really) in the summer of 2019. After two weeks of texting, we met in person at Lolo’s Chicken and Waffles. Lauren’s parents warned her not to get in the car with a stranger—so naturally, she did. We ended up driving around and talking for hours, and from that moment, something just clicked. We dated, had fun (including a very hot hike in June as a second date), and quickly grew close. Like all the great love stories, ours had a few plot twists—we took some time apart to grow individually and figure out what we truly wanted. A little over a year later, we reconnected as friends… and then as something more. After a few months of intentional conversations and prayer, we knew this was the real thing. Fast forward three more years, and Cody completely surprised Lauren with a proposal during a family ski trip in December 2024—despite her being convinced he still didn't even have a ring. Now, we’re so excited to begin our life together and celebrate the love story God has written for us. We can’t wait to share this special day with all of you! See you in November!
