To celebrate their two year dating anniversary, Hunter surprised Caitlin by taking her to the Water Lantern Festival. Tangled is Caitlin’s favorite Disney Movie, and it had always been a dream of hers to send out lanterns via sky or water. Just as they sent out their lanterns into the water, Hunter pulled Caitlin aside, got down on one knee, and proposed! There has never been a more sure “Yes!” for Caitlin! It was such a dreamy and romantic evening.

While both were working for Disney for several years, and the Magic Kingdom being primarily their home park, Caitlin and Hunter seemed to never cross paths in person. Caitlin had been recently been looking to make new connections on a dating app, and Hunter had just set up his profile only a couple days prior. When Hunter came across Caitlin’s screen, she saw that his profile was essentially the male version of herself, having the same interests and seemed very lively and fun! She saw he was also looking for new friends, so she sent him a super like! This was primarily because she wanted to point out how similar they were, and maybe they could develop a friend connection, not expecting anything to come of it. To her surprise soon after, they matched and began chatting! Over the course of the next few days, they got to know each other more! After a long 15 hour shift for Caitlin, Hunter offered to talk to her on the phone so she wouldn’t fall asleep driving home. They ended up talking on the phone all night. After that, they knew that there was something deeper growing. They decided to meet up in person, and once that happened, it quickly blossomed into something beautiful that led them to where they are today.
