Our Love Story

We first met through Facebook Dating (yes, they have a dating app!) and Andrew messaged first on 12/15/21. We had messaged for a few days before moving to texting.

After being ghosted for two weeks...Andrew finally messaged me back and our first date was on New Year's Eve (12/31/21). We got dinner at Yard House and drinks in downtown Roseville.

My graduation in Portland, OR with my master's degree in June 2022. Andrew and I made it through a 10-hour road trip and he met my mom, grandma, and aunt for the first time.

Celebrating birthdays together for the first time! For mine in August, Andrew took me out for dinner at Sutter Street Steakhouse in Folsom.

For Andrew's birthday in September, despite him having to be evacuated for two weeks due to fires near Foresthill, we were still able to attend a 49er game against the Seahawks.

After getting to return home, Andrew and I attended our first concert together at Goldfield Trading Post in Roseville.

Off on another road trip, we spent Thanksgiving in Arizona with Andrew's dad, stepmom, aunt, uncle, and older brother and sister-in-law. We also got to do a cave tour while spending our time there.

Fun fact: Andrew plays the drums! Andrew's band Shirttail Canyon got to play at the Country in the Park music festival in May 2023 in Sacramento and was a really great opportunity for them!

July 2023, Andrew and I went to Las Vegas for a Health Conference I was invited to, which was Andrew's first time going. During our explorations, we visited the Stranger Things Experience store.

Receiving the best birthday gift ever, on 8/16/23 Andrew popped the question and proposed during a Rivercat's Game behind home plate and was viewed on the jumbo screen for everyone to see live!

Andrew and I share a love of sports together, me with basketball, him with football, and together we enjoy baseball.
