There are two airports in Puglia, both equidistant to Masseria Calderisi, which are Bari (BRI) and Brindisi (BDS). If flying in from overseas, we recommend connecting in London, Milan or Rome.
Puglia is a vast and beautiful municipality. Taxis can be sparse due to uniquely strict local licensing, so if you need them for any of the events, please speak to your hotel to prebook or refer to our FAQs for taxi companies. Uber and Lyft do not operate in Puglia.
We highly recommend renting a car as Puglia can be challenging to get around without one. In our experience SIXT at Bari Airport is the most reliable and customer service-friendly car hire company in the area (available at both Bari & Brindisi airports). Please speak to Alessandra (ap43583@sixt.com) as we’ve arranged a 10% discount for our guests. Otherwise, most hotels will offer an airport transfer (usually €100-150 each way, depending on location).
