Art Prize 2024
Annual international art event held in downtown Grand Rapids, there is public art free to all throughout the city, check out the website to see more! This would be a great activity for in between the Indian ceremony and the evening events. Will post more specific locations as we get closer to the date.
Founders Brewing Co
More of an uber away but great brewery/vibe! There are many breweries in downtown Grand Rapids and around, all are great!
Madcap Coffee Company
Great coffee that's a 5 minute walk from the hotel, good place from which to explore the downtown Grand Rapids area
Grand Rapids Art Museum
If interested in museums, close to hotel and a nice selection
Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park
Our Western ceremony and reception will be held here, we will also be having tram rides in the mid-afternoon on Saturday in between the two ceremonies if interested in a tour. Otherwise feel free to explore on your own!
Lake Michigan
Lake Michigan is about a 45 minute to 1 hour drive from Grand Rapids. Hannah grew up on this beach and the lake is at it's best in early September. If you're staying in town for longer than the weekend or are renting a car, highly recommend exploring. Both Holland and Grand Haven have great public beaches or there are a variety of smaller beach towns along the coast.
