Here are some of our favorite ways to spend time in the Roaring Fork Valley!
Hiking
There are thousands of beautiful hikes in the area. Our favorites are Mushroom Rock, Snowmass Viewline Trail, and the Thomas Lakes Trail near Mount Sopris. Reach out to us if you want any other hiking recommendations!
Paddleboard Float on North Star Nature Preserve
Paddleboarding down this slow-moving river is one of our favorite things to do in the Valley. Paddleboards are available for rent in town. Check out downtown Aspen while you're at it!
Independence Ghost Town/Independence Pass
36221 Colorado 82, Aspen, CO 81611
There are so many things to do up Independence Pass (hikes with glacier caves at Grottos, cycling, visiting the Maroon Bells), but the Independence Ghost Town has to be one of our favorites. This is a great activity for kiddos!
Avalanche Ranch
12863 Colorado 133, Redstone Historic District, CO 81623
Hot springs- what else is there to say! Ask us about Penny Hot Springs if you want a more rustic experience :)
Blue Sky Rafting
152 West 6th Street, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
If you're looking for the true RFV experience, a whitewater rafting trip should be on the list.
