Question

Is there transportation to and from downtown Carbondale to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will have a shuttle bus service going from Comfort Inn and Suites Carbondale (920 Cowen Dr. Carbondale, CO 81623) to the venue (about a 10 minute drive). Rides will start at 3:45 and end at 4:25pm. The shuttle will return folks to Comfort Inn after the wedding. PLEASE use this free service if you plan to drink! We love everyone a whole lot and want everyone to be safe & responsible :)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5pm sharp— we ask that you are seated and settled at least 10-15 minutes prior.

How do I get to the ranch?

Answer

The address is: Flying Dog Ranch Retreat, 1625 Co Rd 111, Carbondale, CO 81623 Google Maps will take you from downtown Carbondale up the 133, and the 111. When you get close, go slowly and look for the parking lot and big red barn. You will know you went too far if you hit a sharp left turn and start going uphill. There will also be signs out on the day of!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no formal dress code! We suggest something that falls under the category of garden party attire, but please wear whatever you are most comfortable in. The ceremony will be outside, and the reception will be both inside and outside. Please note that Colorado temperatures can fluctuate significantly once the sun goes down- even if it's hot during the day it might be wise to bring a light sweater/scarf, especially for kids.

Can I bring a date?

Due to the size of the venue, we are not able to accommodate more people than we invited. Please refer to your invitation to see if a plus-one has been added.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! Children listed on your invitation are welcome to attend both the ceremony and reception. We will have yard games & kid-friendly areas set up on the lawn outside.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a large parking lot near the barn. This lot cannot accommodate cars for every guest, so it is recommended to carpool as much as is convenient.
