Question

Do I really need to be vaccinated to attend?

Answer

Yes, please. To ensure the safety of our high-risk guests (and to ensure we have one less thing to worry about on our day of celebration) we are requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Question

What does fully vaccinated mean?

Answer

We'll defer to the CDC on this one. Along with the two initial vaccinations, the CDC now recommends booster shots at 5 months after the completion of the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines.

Question

Wait, you're already married?

Answer

Yes! The world was pretty scary in March/April of 2020, so we locked that thing down with a quick courthouse trip in Tennessee. It's been two years, so thanks for your patience. We can't wait to see you!

Question

So will there be a ceremony?

Answer

Nope. We did that part already. So we'll jump right into the reception and after party. Come ready to eat, drink, play and dance!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April 30, 2022 -- in order for us to provide an accurate head count to the venue for catering.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Loosely. No need to bust out the tux for this wedding celebration. Come dressed comfortably, and ready to have fun, just not TOO comfortable.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! It's a ski lodge in the winter, so there is ample unused parking in the summer.

Question

What's the cell service and Wi-Fi situation?

Answer

Snowbowl is literally tucked into the Montana mountains so cell service is very poor. The lodge has free public Wi-Fi though.

Question

Can I get a Lyft or Uber?

Answer

Yes! Lyft and Uber can get you to Snowbowl from Missoula. Jus plan ahead because a trip back to town might be tricky with shoddy cell service on the mountain. You may want to consider renting car if you plan on exploring Missoula or the surrounding area.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have specially negotiated group hotel rates for our event through Zola. We'd recommend staying near North Reserve St. for venue proximity. If you're planning on more than one night in Missoula though, look closer to downtown (Higgins Ave) for a walkable spot with great food and drink. https://bit.ly/3t7o8WJ

Question

What about camping?

Answer

Heck yes! The parking area is more than large enough to accommodate RVs. Or feel free to pitch a tent in the grass at the bottom of the slope and have your own Montana moment. Just let us know because space may be limited.

Question

What happens if COVID cases spike?

Answer

We'll be monitoring this throughout the spring. We have our fingers crossed that we can finally gather in person more than 2 years after our actual marriage. But who knows? Worst case scenario, we have to reschedule. If that occurs, we'll communicate a change ASAP (don't forget to add your email on the RSVP page!).
